The apartments are in a lovely, peaceful spot, and the location is excellent. That's what makes their condition such a shame. Amador, the host, seems to overlook the details: the sheets and blankets were old and covered in hair, and the mattress was hard, too small for a double bed, and had hair on it as well. The kitchen extractor was greasy, and the pots and pans were dirty. They need to put money into maintenance and take better care of the place.

Amador was very welcoming and quickly shared several recommendations. The apartment's in a quiet area, though you'll need a car to reach the beach or Somo's bars. Parking in Somo is metered, but a full day is only about €5.50. There's parking at the apartment, so you can avoid that fee. Inside, the lighting was poor and the sofa was extremely uncomfortable. We couldn't get any channels on the TV in one bedroom because it wouldn't tune in. Outside, the patio chairs were covered in dirt and cobwebs, so I had to clean them before we could sit down.

Amador was very friendly, and the apartment we got was spacious, clean, and comfortable. My main complaints were the lighting and the cooking setup: the bulbs gave off hardly any light, and the pans were useless. The stove was so bad we couldn't even make an omelet.

The beds and sofa were uncomfortable, and there weren't any cushions. We were very disappointed. Five days before arrival, we asked to cancel because the weather was really bad, but they wouldn't take that into account. Then, on the day we arrived, we were told the Wi-Fi would be out for a day and a half, half of our stay. It was pouring, we had no Wi-Fi, and they still wouldn't let us cancel.
