A lovely little inn, peaceful throughout and very thoughtfully arranged, with an incredibly kind landlady. I’d happily recommend it, especially if you’re driving or planning to visit Cenador de Amos. Just be prepared for a 15 minute walk along a road with no shoulders.

María’s inn was a great base for the few quiet days in nature and food exploring we had in mind, and it went beyond what I expected. The owner is warm, attentive, and caring with guests. Breakfast is made fresh and everything tasted natural and delicious, from the orange juice and homemade jams to the sobaos. The place was very clean and peaceful, and the location makes it easy to explore the small towns. Definitely a good choice.

I like La Pedriza very much. It’s a peaceful, welcoming place to live, with two bars, a shop, and even a church. This hamlet in the municipality of Alcalá la Real, Jaén, is a beautiful, typical Andalusian village, with whitewashed houses, stone walls, and a chimney on every house.
