The hosts were wonderfully kind and attentive, with lots of little thoughtful touches. The food and service were excellent, and the pool was clean and in great shape. The room was the letdown: two beds had been joined with a mattress, so we often felt we might fall into the gap. We struggled to sleep in the heat, even with a fan, and our room had just one dormer window. There weren’t many toiletries, so bring your own. There was no hairdryer in the room, though you can ask for one at reception.

A great spot for switching off in nature, whether you come with family or friends, or for a romantic break. It’s also well placed for visiting Galicia and northern Portugal. The owners are very attentive, and the service is excellent. We enjoyed the homemade food, which came in generous portions and had plenty of variety. The desserts, pasta, and breakfast pastries are homemade too. Excellent value for money.

The homemade food was delicious and high quality, and the setting was beautiful, with nature all around and something special in every corner. It was just right for resting and switching off. A quiet little country hotel in rural Galicia, well away from the big cities. The facilities are simple, clean, and looked after. There’s free parking and a barbecue, plus a fantastic pool and a small but very nice spa. I found dinner on the terrace in summer really pleasant. A good choice for a few days or a peaceful weekend.
