We’ve stayed a couple of times and will probably be back. It’s cheap and cheerful, the owner’s a lovely guy, and they’re happy to keep your bikes in the garage overnight.

It’s a simple but pleasant place in a great location. The hosts are super friendly, and there’s a large, secure indoor spot for bikes.

The low price is understandable, but I can’t see how a place in this condition should be open to the public. The owners really need to take a hard look at things. The stairwell leading to the rooms smells of urine, and parts of the facilities seem unsafe, including badly installed radiators.

For an affordable, basic overnight stay while visiting Ripoll, this works well. It’s very clean, the owner at reception is friendly, and the small TV is perfectly adequate.

The rooms are roomy and simple, and the location is excellent, with sights like the cathedral just a few steps away. The bathroom shower is a little cramped, but it works.
