Hotel Colón

The ladies running the hotel were all very nice, and I'd stay here again if I came back to Ronda. We had a car, so being close to the La Merced parking garage was really convenient. It's also a pleasant stroll to Ronda's famous bridge. We stayed in an inner room with a window onto an interior patio. It was very quiet, which was great for sleeping, and the AC worked well. There was plenty of hot water, and the bathroom was a decent size and comfortable to use. Colon Hotels is a smaller, family-style operation. There's a restaurant downstairs where you can have the included breakfast. I've attached some pictures from around Ronda.

We wanted to stay longer just to spend more time with the ladies who run this place. They make you feel like family as soon as you walk in. This is the warmest, most hospitable and charming hotel we've ever stayed in. The rooms are comfortable, quiet, and clean, right in the centre of the historic town and a short walk from the station. If you can't get a room, at least stop by the cafe for a wonderful breakfast, coffee, or yum cake. Best coffee yet in Spain.

The reception lady was so kind, friendly, and helpful, and the hotel has a really welcoming feel. I stayed last night and am just leaving now. My room at Hotel Colón in Ronda was lovely, very clean, and comfortable. The location is great too. I'd happily return and definitely recommend it.

The rooms are unbelievably quiet and dark when you want them to be, thanks to the external shutters, double glazing, and internal blinds. For a hotel that might be rated just 1 star, it gets 10 stars from me for cleanliness, comfort, friendliness, and location. Everything, inside and out, was spotless, from the bed linen and pillows to the bathrooms, and the older-style property is beautifully maintained. Everything works perfectly. The hotel bar is a gem, with breakfast alongside a few locals in the morning and cervesas in the evening. Unbelievable value for such a great stay.
