Hotel Doña Carmen

Breakfast was plentiful and perfect, and the service was friendly. This is a good base for a couple of days exploring Ronda. It's basic and not very clean, but the price reflects that. Noise carries through the corridors, so bring earplugs.

The location is wonderful, and this is a good choice if you want somewhere low-budget in a great spot. The building structure and furniture are a little old. Unfortunately, our room was in another building next to the main one, and we had to cross a bridge between the two buildings to reach the bedroom. The bathroom had no window or fan, and the furniture was a little old too. Breakfast was included, but communication was a bit difficult because the staff didn't speak English. Maybe self-service breakfast would make things easier for everyone.

Good value for the money, with a good breakfast and a location close to everything. We even managed to get the heating working, so the room was nice and warm.

The main downside was that the sheets felt a little scratchy. Otherwise, the room was clean and had a TV and small ensuite. Staff were nice, and the elevator was a great bonus. The location is great, close to the town centre and all the beautiful historic sites. Good value for money, especially with free breakfast: coffee, juice, toast with jam, butter, and cheese. We parked nearby for a fee. The hostel also has private paid parking, I think, but it needs to be reserved in advance.
