The little creek down the path at the campsite is worth finding. It’s such a quiet, beautiful spot near a historic village and waterfall. Mousa is always ready to help, and Ana cooks delicious food.

€38 for one night, just me, a small tent and a bicycle. That felt hugely expensive. There wasn’t even anywhere to wash clothes or do the dishes. Absolutely disgraceful.

We stayed two nights, mostly for the hiking and the area. At night there were no restaurants open, so we didn’t stay longer. The price felt a bit high for what you get. We did like being able to pick our own campsite spot when we arrived. And, haha, a cat probably stole our croissants.

My kids loved this peaceful, quiet campsite. We did lots of activities and they never got bored. If you want to get away from the city and relax, this place is perfect. 100% recommended.

Rupit is about a 10-minute walk down the track beside the campsite, and the waterfalls are magnificent. It’s a friendly, family-run place that’s great for exploring the area. Our one drawback was the lack of shade, and the very clean, warm shower and toilet block was quite a walk from where we were. There wasn’t much produce in the shop, so stock up before you arrive.
