You’ll need a car here, since the nearest shop is a five-minute drive away. The villa itself was clean and well kept, with good facilities, a helpful information folder, and a very clean, large pool. We liked the mix of cared-for garden and rougher natural space, with plenty of birds. It’s a lovely, quiet villa for two, but a few practical details let it down for the price. There was only one heavy outdoor table, so it was hard to move it to the sunny morning spot or under the fixed shade. A second table and little side tables for drinks, phones, and books would’ve helped. The chairs were too low for the main table. We also had just two bin bags for the small kitchen bin over two weeks, and the bathroom bin lid was broken and had to be opened by hand. No dishwasher tablets were supplied, so we had to buy a large bag at the supermarket, more than two people would use. The bed was comfortable but very low, which made getting up harder in the morning. Each person initially had one large towel and one hand towel, not enough when there’s a pool and you might shower several times a day. The bath towels weren’t very large and were quite old. Extra pillows were there, but we couldn’t find covers for them. In the kitchen, there was no sponge, wiping cloth, disinfectant spray, sugar, salt, pepper, or cooking oil. Other villas we’ve rented have supplied these basics as a starter. With a little attention to these small things, it could’ve earned five stars.

We came back for a second stay and loved it again. The villa and its setting are both beautiful. Thanks for having us.

We could pick lemons, limes, and figs right in the garden, and it made for a really relaxing stay. The finca is peaceful, with shops just a few kilometers away. The pool was spotless and got cleaned while we were there. The house is comfortable and the kitchen has a good range of equipment, including a dishwasher, though it could use some little improvements. No salt, pepper, or spices were provided. We’ll be back.
