Complejo la Pinada

Clean rooms, tasty food, and cheerful staff. A good place to stay. Recommended to everyone.

Thankfully, the receptionist on the morning shift was very helpful. But after getting caught in the floods and losing our car and everything, the older woman at reception that evening showed no compassion and was very rude. The room was shabby and dirty, and we only stayed because we had nowhere else to go. We also got bitten by mosquitoes, and a dog howled outside during the night. We'll never return.

The rustic restaurant was clean and attractive, but we went on a weekday when there were few customers, and the food was cold with little choice. The service made the visit awful. We had asked for wine, didn't finish the bottle, and assumed we could take it. At checkout, the waitress rudely challenged my wife, saying she couldn't take it, then explained they charged by the glass. We told her to add the bottle to the bill. When my wife used our US card and selected dollars, the waitress shouted again that it had to be euros and that she had no use for dollars. We tried to explain that she would receive euros either way. The waitresses were horrible and rude.

A really good place to stay, and the food is good too.
