Candela (the owner) left us thoughtful extras: a bottle of water, candles, coffee, sugar, and tea. The apartment was spotless, with plenty of towels, plates, glasses, and cups, plus the basics like a washing machine and refrigerator. And the location is unbeatable, right in the historic center where all the important sights are. Everything was perfect. We know where to stay next time we return to Salamanca.

Even after the cancellation deadline had passed, the manager understood and let me cancel without a charge. The establishment was open to talking and willing to make an exception. That was commendable.

The parking is the biggest drawback, since it only works for medium-sized cars, though there’s a public garage very nearby. Getting in involves just a few steps, and double-glazed windows keep outside noise from coming in. The location is perfect. I’ll definitely return.
