Our room was clean and adequate, but the bathroom needs renovating. The window looked onto a central area full of air-conditioning units, with little else to see. The staff were helpful and the location is very central. At breakfast, please skip the tinned fruit salad.

The rooms were clean, and the staff were really friendly. The bathroom layout was terrible, and breakfast didn’t work for us: no eggs, no fruit, and the bacon was cold and badly cooked. I know Spanish breakfasts tend to be sweet, but eggs are a must for us. The guy at reception made up for a lot of that, though. Ask Emilio for trip advise, what to see, and where to eat. You won’t regret it ;)

We had to go back in person to get my Apple Watch after I accidentally left it in the room. At first the hotel said they’d mail it, but then refused because they said shipping would cost too much, even though I was willing to pay. The receptionist quoted 500€, while the most expensive package I found on the Spanish post site was around 25€. The location is very good, although driving there can be tricky since it’s in a pedestrian area. Parking wasn’t ideal either: the hotel’s lot is very small and was probably full. We also struggled because most of the staff didn’t speak good English. I don’t see why hiring a fluent English speaker in a student town should be difficult.

The rooms are good and the location is excellent. The food at breakfast was average, but the coffee was awful, made with instant granules from a machine. I was a bit mean with my rating, since I’d stay again, but only without breakfast next time.
