Salamanca is beautiful, and I wish we'd had more time here. We had a pleasant stay and thought it was good value. It's a good three-star hotel to me, rather than a four-star one. The centre is a bit of a walk, or you can take a very cheap taxi. There's secure underground parking for an extra charge. It doesn't really have a restaurant, but the snack bar was better than it sounds. I'd come back.

The service was kind and helpful, and our room had a fair bit of space. The hotel feels a little dated. Although the listing suggested plenty of parking, we had to park a few blocks away. Otherwise, it was a nice walk into the town centre.

Secure underground parking and a pleasant hotel, though I'd rate it a star below its published rating. The centre is about a 20-minute walk away. The air conditioning worked well, but the bathroom felt a little tired.

The receptionist, Sara, gave us suggestions for local food and places to visit, and the hotel has a detailed city guide free for guests. Staff were friendly, the place was clean and quiet, and the Roman bridge is within walking distance, a good starting point for the historic centre. Paid parking was reasonably priced, and there are free street parking options nearby.

We found the bar food tasty and reasonably priced, and the staff were about as friendly and helpful as they could be. There's secure underground parking too. The hotel's also very convenient if you're driving from Santander toward Spain or Portugal, close to the main routes.
