Apartamentos Puerta de Occidente

The bakery and pastry shop right downstairs has everything, and the Minymas supermarket is nearby too. There’s a lift, and entry to both the courtyard and apartment is by numeric code, with no key. The bed was comfortable, towels were provided, and the bathrooms were very clean. The kitchen has utensils, though I missed having laundry detergent. Bars are directly across the street, so with the window open in summer, you may hear them if you turn in early.

This was my second stay, and I still highly recommend it. The apartment was fantastic and affordable, with a super comfortable 1.50m bed. The woman who helped me was lovely, and the service was excellent.

I didn’t use the kitchen or washing machine, but both seemed well stocked with the utensils needed for a comfortable stay. The apartment itself was clean, new, and well maintained. The owner was friendly and ready to help whenever I needed something. I’d wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

After a long hike through the Asturian mountains, Conchi makes you feel right at home. Her hospitality is delightful and hard to beat. The apartments are comfortable and spotless, in a modern building with an elevator on Cornellana’s main street, close to local cafes and restaurants. There’s an excellent kitchen and a washing machine too.
