Hotel Tirol

I owe Natasha, Ana, and Hendrik an apology for taking so long to write this. It slipped my mind, and the last few weeks in the Emirates have been complicated. My stays at the Tirol Hotel have been outstanding. I first came just after the pandemic, then returned for ski season last December 2025. Now I'm already planning another visit in summer 2026. From the start, Hendrik was so attentive and Natasha so friendly. With Ana joining the team in 2025, the three of them bring a rare understanding of travel and tourism. People are right that it's family-run, but I don't agree that means it lacks luxury. For me, having honest, generous help with ski resorts, hiking trails, shopping, or even an invitation to a family celebration is a kind of luxury I've also found at some of the best hotels in the world where I live. In Tyrol, though, they make you feel like lifelong friends. This past winter in Formigal, I chose not to ski, and Hendrik made sure I knew where to hike each day. Another time, I came in with boots caked in mud. While I went to change and clean them where they had kindly pointed out, Ana had already cleaned them for me, taking a break from reception. My few complaints are about some guests, not the hotel or its staff. A few could have been more considerate and respectful of others, though that doesn't happen often. It seems people who go to Tyrol are generally on the same wavelength. That's another thing to thank Natasha and Hendrik for. See you soon.

The views are incredible, and the location is superb. Rooms are clean and perfectly adequate, though not luxurious. Breakfast was good, and the service was wonderful. They gave us excellent tips for making the most of our days on the slopes.

Maybe our room was a little small, but the welcome we got more than made up for it. The owners and staff treated my son and me so well that we felt right at home. These past few days at the hotel have been wonderful. Thank you so much!

It's a very good family-run hotel, and the price was very reasonable. The amenities are basic, but there was enough for a ski holiday. Each morning over breakfast, one of the hosts would tell us what the weather was going to be like.
