The kids especially loved the freshly baked pizza, and the milder basics like spaghetti and lasagna worked well for picky eaters. The food was fine, and the beach was beautiful. There’s a water playground with several slides, plus a warm indoor pool and a nice outdoor one. The staff were friendly, and the hotel was a paradise for children. We had a lovely holiday and will definitely come back.

We’ve spent the first week of October here for the last eight years, a quiet anniversary break now that the kids are grown up. The area itself is small and peaceful, with a few restaurants offering a reasonable range and prices. The bars are friendly, show sports each day, and serve a variety of food. From the hotel, turn left after the Mexican restaurant for a lovely 30-minute cliff walk to the main town, with fantastic views. It isn’t suitable for prams or people with disabilities. The bus stops are there too, with routes to town and other areas, and there’s a small shop selling excursions. There are three pools. Two are at the front with a pirate-themed mini waterpark for kids; the main pool is around the back, has a bar serving snacks, and is always busy, so you have to be quick to get a sunbed. The bars by the pools are handy, and the nearby beach is a lovely place to relax for the day. Food is adequate, with salads, meat and fish, plus burgers, hot dogs, pizza, and chips if you’re with kids. The staff are always helpful and polite, even when they look stressed at mealtimes. Rooms are small and basic but cleaned daily. Leave towels on the bathroom floor and they’ll be replaced. There’s a hairdryer, but no kettle, and the TV only gets basic Spanish, German, and French channels.

The private beach is lovely, and the location works well if you like small bars and restaurants. Salou is only a 5-10 minute bus ride away, and reception staff were helpful when I had questions. I can’t comment on the food, though the smell of fish was all we noticed each evening. This wasn’t one of my better holidays. People were arguing and shouting in the corridor around 3-4 a.m. on the first night, so I barely slept. The next night, five police cars arrived at the hotel. I don’t know what happened, but it didn’t look good for a place described as family friendly. You could hear people snoring and talking through the walls all night. I won’t stay here again.

There’s plenty for children to do, with places for parents to relax too, and a small, clean beach by the nearby bay. Our room looked out toward the children’s slides, the main entrance, and the hotel driveway. It was clean and got cleaned every day, but noisy in the evenings from guests and nighttime garbage trucks. The food range was wide, though the same things came around daily and weren’t always fresh. After a few days, it all got boring. Still, it’s a good family hotel.
