The pools are gorgeous, and the resort itself is lovely, but there were some frustrating parts. On arrival, we were charged a €200 cabin deposit, plus what felt like an arbitrary €50 for towels and bedsheets. There were no blankets included, and we had to return the towels and sheets without getting fresh ones. Before leaving, you have to wait at reception while they inspect the room. You have to scrub it and leave nothing behind to get your deposit back. There was a weed smell throughout the resort. With so many trees and bushes, mosquitoes were also a real problem. We got bitten constantly, so sitting outside was difficult and we had to keep the doors and windows shut. Check your AC, because ours wasn’t working.

Six of us stayed in apartments in July. There are pros and cons, and plenty of room for improvement, so I’d give it three stars.

Five of us stayed in a three-bedroom apartment with plenty of room and a balcony with a view. The location was great for local amenities, including la siesta park, the shop, restaurants, promenade, and beach.

There’s lots of shade, which I really liked, and the place is beautiful overall. The staff were very friendly, and the pool complex was lovely. The price was good for what you get. Getting around with a big car was a little difficult, but manageable.

The campsite reception was very attentive. We stayed a week, and the apartment was comfortable, with a big terrace and a very central location.
