Apartamentos Norcopia

The location was good and we had fun, but the room was a mess. There was dirty underwear in a corner, the cleaner ate my chips, and she wouldn't let us in to get sunscreen. She was too angry. The cleaner clearly didn't know how to do the job. At the pool bar, a worker made a sandwich, got cheese stuck on her fingers, touched the whole sandwich, and didn't wash her hands. The toilet didn't work well either.

At Norcopia, the reception people were really sweet and helpful, and the rooms were clean and just like the website photos. The small market at the hotel had fresh bread and everything for a nice breakfast at a good price. The pool area was clean, and the bar there was good too. Complimentary champagne and beer in the fridge were a lovely extra. It was only a short five minute walk to the beach, and we had the perfect vacation. We'd definitely stay again.

I am 16, and during my stay there was a conflict with my mother and stepfather. They shouted at me, insisted I should be sent home, and told the receptionist. Soon after, the receptionist asked me whether I wanted to go home. I said I didn't, because my sister was there too and I didn't want her to be left alone with them. The receptionist called that an “excuse.” I felt extremely upset and unsupported in an already stressful situation. As a young guest, I felt especially vulnerable. It was highly unprofessional for a staff member to involve themselves in a personal matter like that. I expected empathy, discretion and professionalism, but didn't receive them. I'm formally complaining about how I was treated by reception and ask that this be taken seriously, with appropriate action so no other guest has a similar experience. Absolutely disgusted.

Our favorite part was the massage treatments with Tamy, the Swedish therapist who comes to the hotel a couple of times a week. There's a folder at reception where you can book, and I can highly recommend her to anyone staying at hotel Norcopia. We had a great stay and really liked the small, cozy hotel. The pool area was great too.
