Ataitana Faro

The restaurant attached is great, and the staff are fab. Another lovely stay. We’ll be back in October.

We got a special offer, so the price was very cheap, which made the shortcomings okay. The bungalows have enough room for two, the pool is nice, and the staff are friendly. It’s a quiet complex a little outside the city, with a great view over town, but walking into the main part takes about 30 minutes. The beds aren’t very comfortable, some electrical sockets don’t work, and there’s no hand soap.

It was good value for the money, and the view was great. The place is a little out of the way, but the walk isn’t too bad if you don’t mind walking. It could use a bit of TLC, though I have no complaints for what I paid and was pleasantly surprised. As a travel agent, I’d happily recommend it to people looking for a budget-friendly holiday.

The reception is staffed around the clock, and they were kind and helpful. We got a kettle and TV remote there for free after asking. My 73-year-old mom and I stayed at Ataitana Faro in Maspalomas, and the apartment looked just like the photos. There’s a small kitchen and living room downstairs, with a patio, then a bathroom, bedroom, and balcony upstairs. The little shop is handy, and there’s an inexpensive restaurant open in the evenings. A bigger store is about a 10-minute drive away. The pool area is tidy, sunny, and has free loungers. We like walking, so we went to the sea on foot. The front desk also gave us bus information and a free ticket. They even helped us use a computer and print a ticket for the plane. If you’re looking for sun, quiet, and interesting places to explore without spending too much, this suited us well.
