The sofa bed was meant for two, but it was barely single-sized, uncomfortable, and I couldn’t sleep. After just one night we started looking for somewhere else, and ended up giving Green Oasis six nights for free. At almost 100 euros a night, we expected basic cleanliness, comfort and proper upkeep. We got none of that. Rip off!! The advertised 50 m² for a family of four was misleading: only about 25 m² was indoor space across two floors, and the other 25 m² was garden. The place felt like a campsite with bungalows, and many people seemed to live there permanently, so it didn’t feel like tourist accommodation. On arrival, reception looked abandoned for years (see photo). It was dirty from the start, with sand on the sofa and in the drawers, and a very dirty oven. One of the two folding chairs was broken. The kitchen neon light was detached with cables hanging out (see photo), the whole unit was poorly lit, and one sun lounger was simply disgusting (see photo). There was no room for a table indoors without blocking movement. Eating outside wasn’t possible either, because the neighbors smoked constantly and the smoke blew into our area. Downstairs there was no wardrobe or even a coat hanger, so we kept going up and down for clothes or covering the sofa with jackets. Soundproofing was nonexistent. When the neighbor coughed at night, it felt like he was in our room.

We appreciated the flexible cancellation policy, but ended up canceling and booking a different apartment. The bungalow was cramped, small and not properly cleaned, and being right beside the pool made it impossible to rest. It was noisy with children around the pool, despite the property being advertised as “adults only” on some site. The place felt very outdated, as if it hadn’t been refreshed since the 80s. Parking was a struggle because there were so few spaces. There was no reception on site and it seemed abandoned. We had to depend on other guests to let us in, then locate our bungalow over a WhatsApp video call, which felt inconvenient and unprofessional.

My wife and I were really impressed by the welcome at reception and how quickly they replied to our messages. The bungalow was just right, everything was new, and it stayed quiet at night. We wanted somewhere to rest and got that. It’s 1.7 km from Maspalomas beach, which is beautiful. We rented a car in the city for convenience, though there are plenty of taxis if you’d rather use those. Thanks so much to Mr. Vincenzo Frasca. One of the best places we’ve stayed, and we’ll definitely come back.

Our stay was peaceful and the surroundings were fairly clean. The big road nearby didn’t bother us, though it is quite close. Unfortunately, the restaurant/bar is permanently closed and abandoned.
