Hotel LIVVO Anamar Suites

The staff we met were all kind and helpful, and our room was spacious, comfortable, and nicely decorated. There was soft music in the restaurant and around the pool, adding to the laid-back feel. A good choice if you want to relax and sleep well.

The location is fantastic: there’s a supermarket opposite the entrance, lots of restaurants nearby, and more shops in the local shopping centre. The beach is less than a ten-minute walk away. Public areas were exceptionally clean throughout, and our spacious room had a fridge, microwave, and kettle, enough for a week. The staff were lovely, especially Gara at breakfast, who was always smiling and ready to help. I’d have given five stars until last night, when noise from the room next door kept me awake. The hotel group should invest in soundproofing where beds are back to back; I could even hear the other person’s alarm at 6 a.m. This isn’t the fault of the staff on site, since it’s out of their hands, but I do think it’s worth addressing.

The staff are great and the rooms are clean, so I do like this hotel. I only held back the fifth star because I booked the same room type two years in a row, and the second time it came with fewer amenities. There was no sink, hob, or coffee machine, unlike the previous year.

The hotel sits in a quiet area that’s well placed for restaurants and bars, and I’d happily return. Breakfast was mediocre and usually cold, with Haribo eggs, and the restaurant got busy enough that we sometimes waited for a table. Our balcony was very small and got no sun, which was disappointing. Early check-in went well. I also liked being able to choose not to have the room cleaned every day, both to avoid being disturbed and to get 2 euros a day to spend at the bar for each day we skipped cleaning. The rooms were clean and good.
