The apartment was very clean, with no insects, cockroaches, or mosquitoes, and the TV reception was good. I had everything needed to prepare breakfast for the week, and the water pressure was good too. Supermarkets and restaurants were nearby. The pool was cleaned daily, and the reception had clear instructions for requesting cleaning and fresh towels. Off-hours check-in was well organized, and staff answered my messages and requests even outside working hours. The weak WiFi was a downside, as was one spring bed that needs replacing. Being so close to Yumbo centre also means loud music can carry over when there are concerts.

The reception lady was an absolute angel, kind and attentive. We arrived early and the hotel let us into the room before check-in, which was nice. Reception is closed most of the time, but you can message staff on WhatsApp. The room wasn't what I expected. It was very warm and fairly outdated, with no basics like handwash or shower gel. The quilt didn't cover two people, the pillows were paper thin, and the towels smelled musty and sweaty once wet. Even after they replaced the towels, the new ones smelled too. The hotel gave us more pillows, which helped a bit. The sound insulation was poor, and we had to keep the windows open at night because it was hot and there wasn't enough ventilation. The WiFi didn't work during our stay. They said an engineer had fixed it, but we didn't see anyone come in, and it still wasn't working when we got there. The hotel said they couldn't do anything about the heat and had no fans to provide, which I understand. We also had an issue with someone who lives in the building permanently. We were told to call the police if it continued. With that and the other problems, we asked to leave early. The hotel refunded the unused nights, given the problems, especially the last one they couldn't do anything about. I wouldn't stay again, though I appreciate the staff acted in good faith and made clear efforts to resolve things. The location is good and it's cheap, so three out of five feels right.

The apartment was spacious, clean, and quiet, so sleeping wasn't a problem. They're all said to have balconies. The bathroom was large and bright, we never ran out of hot water, and the kitchen had everything for cooking. The place is very central, and the receptionist was friendly and quick. Staff were helpful too. The lift moves slowly, and it got a little noisy on the weekend when even the older residents went out to party. Still, a fantastic place!

Right in the heart of the action, especially if you enjoy evenings around Yumbo. The hotel is basic but very clean, and the staff are helpful. Rooms stay quiet because the road outside doesn't allow large trucks and few cars pass at night. The pool isn't heated, so it's chilly in winter. There's no air conditioning, so rooms may get hot in summer.
