The staff’s friendliness made a big difference to our holiday. We had a great all-inclusive deal for the price, with a marvellous range of food for different needs, including vegetarian dishes, and the drinks were fine. I only took a little off for the location because we went to Yumbo quite often, and it was a bit of a trek.

I’m here now with a group of tourists from Finland, supported by TUI Finland. I travel around the world for work about 90 percent of the time as head manager of a big international IT firm, but I fell in love with Relaxia at first sight on my first visit to the wonderful island of Gran Canaria. The Canarian food is the best I’ve ever tasted, like homemade, with an ecological concept and a huge variety for guests from all over the world. The service was perfect, and the staff were the warmest I’ve ever met. Special thanks to Carlos at reception, Jonathan and Alonso in the restaurant, and David in the souvenirs shop at the hotel. You all made my holiday joyful and complete. I’m going to bring my whole family from Helsinki, Finland. Muchas Grasias! Feliz Navidad!

We stayed over the 2025-2026 New Year holiday. The hotel has a good location and facilities, including a pool and entertainment for kids. The rooms are dated and there’s no minibar. The price seemed fair compared with other places, so I won’t complain about that. My only complaint for the whole stay was the internet.

We stayed for two weeks and would happily have stayed longer. The food was amazing: themed meals included American burgers, Spanish fiesta, Japanese ramen, Thai soup, shrimp, spring rolls, sushi, and raw tuna. There were lots of fruit and vegetables, eggs made different ways, a daily pizza station, and snacks between meals even though we were on half board. We chose the ocean view room after one night, and it was a game-changer. The new(er) ocean-facing side was worth the extra cost. We paid €15 per night to move to the 6th floor, room 641. Our first standard room, 458, faced the BP station, mountains, and highway. It felt gloomy, with old windows and creaky wooden balcony doors. There’s no fridge or kettle in the rooms. The hotel is a great base for exploring the island. There’s lots of greenery and a tropical garden. The hotel and our room were spotlessly clean. Beds were comfy, though the mattresses were soft, the pillows were great, and the bathroom was well kept. They cleaned daily, changed towels every two days, and sheets every three. One pool had music and activities, while the other near the dining area was a quiet zone with a mango tree. We even snacked on fallen mangoes. Jacuzzis and showers were part of the pool area. There’s a gym, pool tables, and other activities in the building. Live music every day was fantastic, including saxophone concerts, and there were activities for kids and adults. The promenade was lovely. It’s noisy towards Maspalomas, but quieter towards Playa de Burres and San Antonio, with a cliff walk. All we could hear was the ocean. The old elevators were a minor downside. I’d love to return and highly recommend it, especially with an ocean view. Warm regards!
