The homemade food was really good when I had lunch there yesterday with my wife and in-laws. We chose the weekend set menu, and the portions were just right. Service was good too, especially the helpful waitress, and everything was more than acceptable. If I'm back in the area, I'll definitely return. And if they have homemade cheesecake, get it. It's a 15 out of 10. Keep it up and you'll have no trouble with customers.
Everything was quite clean, and the service was good when I ate there today. The food was great and homemade. I had delicious beef stew and roasted pumpkin cream, then tasty grilled lamb chops with potatoes and ratatouille. The homemade cheesecake for dessert was very good too.
The food was awful. They charge 12 euros for croquettes from Mercadona, when the bag costs just 3 euros. The oxtail looked past its expiration date. Terrible.
The asparagus arrived with what looked like armbands to keep it afloat in the oil. The potato salad was intensely acidic, and the salmon was dry under all that oil. Fries and a blob of spicy tomato sauce came with everything. The fried pork belly with mashed potatoes was a tiny portion for 12 euros. Very disappointing, I won't be back.
We were having breakfast today while waiting for someone else when the owner, Conchi, came over and said we had ten minutes to finish because others wanted a seat and the terrace was only for tapas. I think that's awful, especially as we'd already started ordering food. I don't recommend the place. They seem to take advantage of their prime spot in the square, and the service we got from Conchi left a lot to be desired.
