I was there on a business trip after my company booked a lot of rooms at the hotel. The rooms were decent, though they could use modernization and USB charging plugs. There was some confusion about whether breakfast was included. On my last night, I tried to grab a quick bite before an early flight, and they treated me like a naughty schoolboy. It was so unprofessional that I found it more laughable than insulting.

Once you get there, the location is good, but reaching the hotel by car was a nightmare. Parking in the nearby paid lot was just as bad, with very tight spaces to maneuver in. Our room had the TV on when we arrived, and there was hair between the sheets and a stained cover. They changed the bedding quickly after we pointed it out. The bathroom's glass walls and door may leave some people feeling short on privacy. Afternoon staff didn't seem very friendly, and a few times there was nobody at the front desk when we passed. The morning staff came across as friendlier and more professional. I didn't feel comfortable staying here.

My stay at Hotel Salymar in Cádiz left me disappointed. I'd booked the wrong night by mistake and contacted them within 24 hours to ask about changing or cancelling the reservation. The room hadn't been used, and I asked well before check-in, but the hotel wouldn't make a change or cancel without charging a fee. Staff communication felt rigid and unhelpful. They seemed more focused on applying the fee than finding a solution that worked for a customer. For a hotel that presents itself as service-oriented, that was very disappointing. I had a negative experience and wouldn't recommend it to travelers who care about flexibility and customer support.

We arrived before check-in, but they let us into the room early. The people were so nice, and everything was very clean. The balcony was wonderful too. Hotel Sal y mar was lovely.

Right in the middle of the city centre, at the plaza ingles, this is a decent hotel. The room was clean and nice, and the staff were very friendly.
