The food was okay, the hotel was clean, and the F&B staff were lovely and professional. The breakfast server, who was older and shorter with longer hair, and the older gentleman without hair on the evening shift stood out in particular. Our room, number 118, was near reception, but it faced the street across from it, so hotel staff could look straight into the windows. On Wednesday, March 26, the door wouldn't lock. I found the room unlocked at 8:15 in the morning and went to reception, but nobody was there. I had to wait for the receptionist to come back from breakfast. The beach bar service was disappointing. On Monday, March 24, at about 4 p.m., a man using a wheelchair ordered two beers and asked Alejandro, who was pouring them, to bring them to his table. Alejandro said he couldn't, so I took them over myself. The next day at around 4 p.m., I asked the waiter clearing my empty glass for another beer, but I hadn't got enough, so I had to order one again at the bar. On Thursday, March 27, I ordered a piña colada at the beach bar and found it disgusting. I asked Alejandro to add more rum and coconut milk. He put in an unsuitable amount of rum and said it couldn't be improved. After I asked him for about a minute to make another, repeating that he couldn't, he did make me a fresh one, but that one still wasn't good.

The location made it easy to get around and see the area's main attractions. The pool was a nice place to relax, the gym had good equipment, and the spa offered different treatments. There was also a broad choice of food at the restaurant. We felt at home in the spacious, clean, nicely decorated room, and the staff were warm and attentive from the moment we arrived. They made sure our needs were taken care of. Our stay at AllSun Eden Playa was wonderful and went beyond what I expected. I'd recommend it to anyone wanting a comfortable, luxurious stay, and I'll definitely come back on my next visit.

The hotel, rooms, and beach were really nice, and the staff gave good service. The food, though, was the worst I've ever had at a hotel. The gym was great but had no treadmill. You also pay extra for all sorts of services, including the safe and beach towels. It felt like constantly having to buy necessary add-ons.

The shower swung wildly between scalding hot and freezing cold, and the pressure was practically nonexistent. The balcony also looked unsafe, with cracks and ants everywhere. Judging by its condition, I wouldn't lean on it. I think there's a 70% chance, or more, that the wall could break and you could fall to your death. The room wasn't clean or quiet. There was mold in cracks in the walls, including outside the bathroom, cracks elsewhere, and ants all over, even inside the room. The bathroom had a huge glass wall right next to the toilet, so sitting there properly wasn't possible. The entertainment was only in German, which left us feeling excluded. Even the rules were just in Spanish and German. Maybe they colonised this place back in 1933. And for an “all inclusive” hotel, there were some odd charges: you pay 10 euros for a towel so you don't steal it, which is fair, but you can't exchange it free, either. Each towel change costs 1,50€. We arrived after six hours of travel nearly dehydrated and tried to find a clean glass for a drink. There weren't any until we spotted tall glasses for long drinks. A woman from the hotel angrily shouted at us in Spanish and German because, apparently, those were only for orange juice. We don't speak either language. The soda tasted like the sweetest drink imaginable, and even the milk was like sugary syrup.

We enjoyed the soups every time, with two options at lunch and dinner each day, and the buffet had plenty of variety and something different to try. The rooms were spacious and very clean, the pools were okay, and the hotel sits right on a beautiful beach with its own access. The one food item we missed was typical Spanish Jamon. The alcoholic drinks were extremely poor. The wine was so unpleasant that we couldn't drink it, and I suspect it was the cheapest the hotel could buy. Although this is an all-inclusive hotel, ice cream costs extra, as do supposedly better drinks. Reception also told us there was a cleaning fee for beach towels. We've never had to pay towel cleaning fees at other hotels, and that felt rude and completely unacceptable. The entertainment was weak and always in German. There were no dancers or live singers, so it got boring. We still had a nice time, but we hope management improves these things.
