The apartment is a bit old-fashioned, but it has all the essentials, stays really warm, and is well insulated. The huge TV was great for the kids. The location is also handy: if you're driving, it's about five minutes to the ski slopes, or you can take a bus. Juan Carlos was our host and sorted out equipment rental too. Book it with him in advance, because otherwise you might not have any equipment available. He's also a fantastic ski instructor. Our three-year-old didn't want to try skiing, and other instructors couldn't persuade her, but Juan Carlos's teaching approach worked and she ended up loving it. He really saved our holiday. Most of our communication was by WhatsApp. Sometimes a reply took a little longer, which makes sense when he's busy hosting and teaching, but we always heard back within a reasonable time. He's welcoming and reliable, and we felt we could trust his suggestions. I'd recommend his apartments and would definitely come back. Things were going well despite the difficulty communicating, right up until it was time to get the deposit back. For the past three weeks they've ignored our messages. No information, no response at all.

Apartment 202 on the second floor was cold, and the heaters were locked. One bedroom had no door, there were no lights in the kitchen, and it took us an hour to figure out the keys. They ask for payment upfront, then the owner asks for a deposit that can take who knows how long to return. We asked for an invoice and never got one. They ignore you.
