Casa Rural Antolina

The breakfast is pretty basic, and when it's very busy you may end up sharing a table with people you don't know. The rooms have what you need for a decent night's sleep, though nothing special. Getting into the house means climbing a fairly steep staircase, so I wouldn't suggest it for anyone who has trouble walking.

The inner courtyard was a lovely place to sit for a while in the evening with a beer. There were other guests, but we never crossed paths. Juli recommended our room, and it was wonderfully cool. Upstairs there's a lounge, kitchen, and fridge where you can leave whatever you like. Juli served a very good breakfast and was a great host. We were so comfortable over our two days in mid-June that it felt like the house was ours. Highly recommended.

The location is hard to beat, tucked behind the church and close to the main square, with lively lanes, friendly neighbors, irrigation ditches, and decorations all around. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. It has no air conditioning, but even during a heatwave it stayed naturally cool thanks to the stone walls. The included breakfast was delicious and generous, and the service was impeccable. Rustic decor and shared spaces suit what you'd expect from a rural guesthouse. A charming place in a beautiful village. Thank you, Marian and Juli.

The entrance door and lovely patio were the first things that caught us by surprise, and then there were the orange trees and our spectacular room. It was a gift weekend, and the accommodation, homemade breakfast, shared areas, design, and decor all went beyond what I expected. Traditional touches blend with modern ones, while still leaving you with everything you need. I hope we can do it again.
