Hotel La Oficina

The Black Bull has reopened under new owners, with new menus and quality food at a good price. The service was very good, and the staff were friendly. We had the nacos and barbiquejo ribs, and highly recommend them. If you’re cycling from the coast, it’s a perfect place to stop for a good meal before heading back.

We had a great stay at La Oficina for two weeks in September. We were upgraded to a balcony room, with lovely countryside views, and spent many days relaxing out there. It had two sun loungers with comfy mattresses, plus a table and two chairs. The room was really large, with a king size bed and tea and coffee making facilities. Each day, our basket of croissants, jams and cereals was replenished. There was a small TV, though we hadn’t come on holiday to listen to bad news! A fridge in the hall had water, milk, butter and juice, and the room had a fan for the extra sunny days. We weren’t disturbed, and anything extra we asked for was supplied promptly. Sheila, who cleaned our room, was lovely and worked hard to keep the motel clean and comfortable. Thanks, Sheila, for making our stay that bit nicer. Parking was easy and free. There were nearby market days, plenty of places to go and things to do, and the new Boulevard was just a few minutes’ drive away. The price, location and freedom to come and go as we pleased all get a thumbs up from us. We thoroughly recommend it, even for a quick stop along your journey. Bill and Lin

The restaurant downstairs was fantastic, and we’d recommend it to everyone. My boyfriend and I spent the weekend at Motel la oficina. Our room was large and clean, and the WiFi worked great. We also went horse riding at Lo Rufete stable and quad biking around the lake.

We found it easily, and the rooms were modern and spotless. It’s in a very quiet residential area, with the Black Bull restaurant just a minute’s walk away for superb food.
