I stayed three days, and the location was ideal for hiking. The Hostel sits right on top of Ulia Mountain, with great ocean views and nature all around. There are plenty of parking spaces nearby. Getting to the shops and restaurants in San Sebastian’s center is more of a trek, a 30-45 min walk down and back up the mountain. The Taxibus is what I’d recommend, but it only runs once an hour, has limited space, and you need to reserve in advance.

After the second day of the Camino del Norte, I stayed here and really enjoyed the place. The sunset was great. It was October 2020, and very quiet.

Up on the hill along a Camino de Santiago route, overlooking Donastia, this place has good facilities and reasonable prices. The staff were pleasant. Nothing to dislike.
