Aldamar

Clean, nice room with no frills. There wasn’t even seating, despite my upgrade. You’re paying for the hotel’s location.

Our cosy, comfortable room felt like a home away from home, and we had a lovely two-night stay. It was tucked away somewhere peaceful but still just steps from the Old Town’s top restaurants, a short walk to the beach, and close to Gros. Great for a getaway that’s relaxing and convenient. The free minibar drinks, hot beverages, air conditioning, rain shower, and TV streaming services were thoughtful extras that made the room more comfortable. We did have trouble getting in at first because no check-in instructions arrived. We had to try random buzzers until someone let us in. Since the hotel is part of a group, it was hard to reach the right person, though they later gave us a useful contact number. Our room had windows, but they opened onto a hectic-looking small balcony belonging to a neighbouring resident, so we kept them shut.

I was very happy with my stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the reception staff were really nice. They took care when telling us about good restaurants. The hotel is in San Sebastian’s old town, with convenient transport and plenty of attractions. There was free water and drinks in the room, plus free coffee in the lobby. Compared with other hotels in San Sebastian, the price was relatively affordable. I’m very satisfied 😄

Right in the center of San Sebastián, which made getting around so easy. The place was amazing for a getaway, with free coffee and a mini bar. The maids were sweet and did a great job cleaning. Highly recommend!
