Camping Caravaning Oyambre

The pitches are decent, though some are tricky to get into with a bigger van and take a bit more time. The site's amenities are top class, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Even the cleaners sing while they work. I loved the little gym and the excellent pool. There's a restaurant on site, but the service and food weren't great. They were handling a very large group at the time, which might explain it. The beach is 1km away, and the site is equidistant from the two local towns, 4km each. You can bike there, though the area is hilly.

The site was clean and well kept, and the restaurants had a good selection at reasonable prices. It sits beside a superb beach, about a 20mins walk away. The right side is very dog friendly, with a great inlet for swimming. Nice touch that there's a dog section by the pool, so you can still swim!! Great all round site.

Our pitch was a good size, although some are on the small side. Everything was kept very clean, and the site has toilets, a pool, bar/restaurant, play areas and a small shop. It's about a 20 min walk to the beach and an easy 45/60 min drive from Santander. There are a few local towns with interesting sites to visit. Absolutely brilliant campsite, we'll return and would certainly recommend it.

We had a lovely spacious pitch, with some tree shade that we were grateful for. A gate leads straight from the site, and we used it for walks and cycling. The beach is about a ten minute walk away. The reception staff were so friendly and helpful, and we'd definitely come back. We absolutely loved this great campsite. The facilities were the cleanest I've ever seen, with people constantly looking after them. There's a good bar/restaurant, a handy little shop, and lovely pools and outdoor areas.
