Hostal La Torre

We had a lovely sunset dinner here with a friend. Even without a reservation, the hostess welcomed us with a big smile and genuine warmth, which got the evening off to a great start. The view is one of the best on the island. The food tasted good, though the portions felt small for the price, and the cocktails were disappointing given how much they cost. I had an amazing time, but the main thing you’re paying for is that stunning view. If that’s what you’re after, you won’t be disappointed.

Lorie, Hector, and Kate were so helpful when we checked in and throughout our stay, answering questions and sorting requests. Paola and Claire were lovely too, professional, patient, kind, and fun. They made us feel comfortable and cared for, and the whole team deserves a thank you. I do want to be honest that some of the others can be very pushy about upselling. The group seems focused on making money, which can take away from the personal touch. At the same time, the places we went to from the group were beautiful and had everything we needed, whether at the hotel, cala gracioneta, or pomelo playa. Just plan for the cost so you can enjoy what’s on offer without being caught off guard.

The staff were good company as well as helpful and friendly, and the restaurant was very good. Food prices are on the high side, probably because there aren’t many alternatives nearby unless you head into town. Still, it’s a great spot with an amazing sea view.

We stopped for drinks on the terrace, and that breathtaking view really made the visit. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the place has a special feel as soon as you arrive. It’s clearly a hotspot, so prices are premium. You’re paying for the setting and the experience as much as the food or drinks. The location, atmosphere, and service all have that wow factor. For a memorable breakfast, lunch, or dinner in Ibiza, I think it’s worth it.
