Palladium Hotel Palmyra - Adults Only

The location and views were amazing, and the entertainment was good. I didn't get to try the pool, but loungers are first come, first served, so once they're gone for the day, that's it. For what we paid, the room was a letdown for a supposed four-star place. There was broken glass, an old mini fridge, stained scatter cushions, dusty cabinets, and it clearly hadn't been cleaned properly. The food was okay, nothing special, and very repetitive. Staff service was disappointing too. One woman was attentive, but over the other three days we barely got service. I also hadn't realized smoking was permitted in all the outdoor areas, including our balcony. As a non-smoker, that made it hard to enjoy being outside. I wish we'd seen that information beforehand. We booked this for a 30th birthday, so I came away pretty disheartened. In our opinion, it wasn't worth the money.

The food was freshly cooked with a good range, and the all-inclusive cocktails were the best I've had. Our room was clean and lovely, then we got upgraded to the penthouse suite during the stay. This was our first adults-only holiday without the kids, and we were welcomed warmly from the start. Jeni was such a lovely little gem and a real asset to the hotel. We'll definitely book again for next summer. Thank you so much!

We had such a great time here, and the restaurant team deserve a special mention for the lovely service. The food was delicious, and Sylvia was great at aqua fit. Other guests were friendly as well. The hotel is right by the beach and very central. We loved the location and are already talking about coming back. I'd absolutely recommend it.

We loved the all-inclusive drinks, especially the cocktails, and they weren't watered down. The poolside entertainment was fun in the afternoon and evening. Pool towels are free each day, with no deposit, so no need to bring one. The hotel is clean and well cared for, and the staff are friendly. We were comfortable throughout. Our group of friends were in our late 20s to early 30s, and we wanted somewhere lively without it being overrun with 18-year-olds. There was a good mix of ages, including couples and families with grown-up kids. It's a particularly good fit if you're 30+ and want some buzz without a crowd of teenagers. The room was clean and comfortable, and the safe didn't cost extra. There's a second door between the room and corridor to help with noise, a great idea. I'm a light sleeper, but didn't need my earplugs and slept well every night. We were impressed with the food. The chefs were friendly and cooked plenty of fresh meat, fish, and pasta alongside the usual buffet dishes. As a vegetarian/pescatarian, I had lots to choose from, and my meat-loving friends, who are picky, said some of it was incredible. It's a short walk to town, but the hotel isn't right in the middle of it. O Beach is very close, though you'd never know it was there. San Antonio suits a friends' trip or couples who like partying. If you want a quiet or family-friendly holiday, it won't be the right place. I wouldn't choose it for a trip with my partner, but it was great for a girls' holiday. I'd recommend staying here.
