Hopefully this honest feedback helps them improve. We rented a deluxe room and arrived on Halloween. The party happening that night was no problem, it was expected, but parking was tight and very steep, so be ready for some tricky manoeuvres. We got in late because picking up the car took ages, and they promptly charged us €25 without that fee being mentioned on the booking site. First red flag. Then our room wasn’t available, so we were put in a triple room by the pool. It had a strange smell that we eventually stopped noticing. When we asked about food, they said pizza. €18 later, a lukewarm supermarket pizza arrived, even though it wasn’t what we’d ordered. I speak no Spanish and he spoke no English, so we grudgingly ate it after he left. Best avoided, red flag three. A few hours later, after midnight, they interrupted us to move the car, despite having charged €25 for the inconvenience of being up late. The curtains were partly hanging off and didn’t close fully. We had broken sleep, with loud water noises from upstairs now and then and a dog barking intermittently. Breakfast the next morning was €40 and below standard. You’d pay a little less than that in NY or London for something better. I’d avoid it unless it costs less than €18 for two. My girlfriend’s shower flooded the floor. When I tried it, I pulled what looked like several weeks’ worth of hair out of the drain, and it was still only partly clear. Final red flag. We asked to be moved to the room we’d actually paid for, then left for the day. It was too late to book somewhere else, and we’d already spent €105 including tax. The deluxe room was better when we returned. It had no curtains, but there were shutters, and I finally slept. I was so exhausted from the night before and Barca by then that I’d have slept through a war anyway. The next morning the shower turned cold in under five minutes, so avoid the Deluxe Room too, except in the height of summer. That was our trip. I was left feeling they see tourists as a way to extract money instead of giving a good experience for a fair price. We’ve stayed in similarly priced places all over Europe, and sadly this one stands out for all the wrong reasons. It took the edge off our stay instead of adding to it. I sincerely hope your experience is better than ours.
