Apartamentos Portinatx Sea View

The location in beautiful Portinax is brilliant, with a great thia/chinese restaurant just down the hill. The apartments are spread across several small buildings, and getting to them involves walking up several flights of steps. It's manageable, but could get tiring for older people or families with small children. Some apartments have a great view. There's a small pool at the top of the hill and another by the Thai restaurant, plus excellent cocktails.

We had some trouble finding parking. A woman working at the restaurant, who spoke little English, first told us to park on the street behind the apartment. There were no-parking signs, though lots of cars were left there. Later another restaurant worker made it clear we shouldn't park there and could face a fine of up to 200 euros. She kindly explained that the public parking spaces on the next street to the right were the place to park, and that worked well. The apartment was great, with clean rooms, a great view, and friendly cleaning staff. The location was quite calm, but the room wasn't very soundproof. When someone walked past the bedroom window, it sounded like they were inside. At night we sometimes heard a very loud quadbike or motorbike, though not often, so it wasn't a big deal. Apart from those little hassles, we liked our stay and would recommend it to people looking for a calm, natural part of Ibiza.

The apartments were clean and had a lovely view, and we enjoyed our stay. There were basic cooking supplies, though no wine glasses, and the pool is very small.

We’ve stayed here twice and would gladly return. The apartments have great views, and it stays quiet even though there’s a bar below. Marilina at reception is the best.
