The room mix-up was awful. We'd booked separate beds online and made sure that was what we were getting, but when we arrived the receptionist said none were left. We said we couldn't accept a double bed, so she brought in an extra bed instead. It was terrible quality, and with the room already so small, there was hardly any space to move. We could easily hear people in other rooms through the thin walls, which made it hard to sleep at night. The nearby train service was also a problem in the evenings. We waited around 30 minutes to an hour each night, and trains kept getting cancelled. If you're staying in Barcelona, make sure you choose a good quality hotel in the centre.

For the price, it was good, and the staff were really friendly and polite. The rooms are very small, though, and the nearby station is incredibly loud. Trains make the window rattle as they pass.

We waited outside for over 40 minutes after arriving around 16:30 because the place was closed and nobody answered. Then an old, rude man came out speaking a foreign language we couldn't understand. I asked him to slow down, but he kept talking at the same pace. Check-out was just as bad, with staff shouting at us out of nowhere while we couldn't understand anything. The entrance area shown in the pictures had garbage bins literally in front of it and smelled awful. Trains passing all night made it impossible to sleep, and the corridors had no lights, so coming and going at night was a real nightmare. This was by far the worst place I've ever stayed. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE!

For 52€, everything was good. The room was clean, the shared bathroom was clean too, and the service was good. The nearby train track wasn't too disturbing.
