BJ Apartamentos Club Sa Coma

We held off reviewing after our first stay. When we came back three months later, a staff member clearly remembered us and welcomed us back. We stayed for seven nights and got one towel change, which was plenty. Housekeeping did a great job. The small, courtyard-style setting means conversations carry, so keep that in mind. Everyone is there for a quiet, relaxing time, and nobody wants other guests being loud. The staff were just as good as before: hard-working, courteous and friendly. I can’t fault them. If you don’t feel that way, maybe ask yourself whether the problem is with you. The staff are the stars here, with the location in second place. We’ll be back a third time and more after that. Take that as you will.

What bothered us most was the location next to an all-inclusive hotel, where there were parties and loud music every night. We couldn’t take it anymore and moved to a different hotel three days before our scheduled checkout. The “apartment” was pretty worn down, and the kitchen and utensils weren’t up to standard. The pool was over 50% smaller than it looked in the pictures.

I had a lovely time at the hotel overall. The rooms are clean, and there’s plenty to keep the young ones occupied. But one staff member’s attitude and poor customer service really ruined it for me. She rushes you while you’re having your first coffee of the morning and berates you when you’re trying to relax. Horrible lady!

A pretty basic apartment, but clean, with great mattresses. The people working there were really friendly and helpful. It’s in a quiet area, just three minutes from the bars and restaurants. Maybe not the best hotel nearby, but very good value.
