The reception team were fantastic, and the water dispensers on every floor made it easy to refill the jugs for the room fridge. The little “collect robots” made me smile too, sometimes more than the waiting staff, though the staff have a lot to get through in limited time. There’s a personal feel to the hotel even though it looks big in the photos, and the location is great. The food was all perfectly edible and a good standard, though we all have different ideas of a great meal. The dining room could be less cramped, and people weaving around to collect food all seem convinced they’re going the right way. They aren’t 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ Thanks to the staff who got us moving when we were lounging in the sun. We joined activities at different times, reluctantly at first, then went back to sunbathing happy we’d tried something new. For a great holiday, this is the place 👏👏👏

The pool was clean and looked after well, and every meal had a delicious range of food. Our room was a good size, cleaned daily, and quiet enough that we heard no outside noise. It felt comfortable and had what we needed, even if it wasn’t especially luxurious. The staff were kind and helpful the whole time. The entertainment was the main letdown, as most of it felt a bit dull, and there was an odd smell around the restaurant, maybe from the cloths used to wipe tables. We still had a really good stay and would choose this hotel again if we come back to Cala Millor.

We’ve been here twice now and would happily return again. It’s an adults-only hotel with a lovely, calm atmosphere. The staff are great and there’s a good choice of food. Our room had a fridge, and you can ask for a kettle. Lidl is within walking distance for essentials. No complaints.

We had a great first stay and only wished we’d booked more time. Ali did a fantastic job with the entertainment and daily activities, which we hadn’t expected to be free. The room looked out over the hotel’s stage and pool area, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. It’s a beautiful hotel, with the beach an easy walk away. We’ll definitely come back.

We settled into this place so quickly. We’ve never felt at home in a hotel and holiday so fast, and that really stood out when our flight was cancelled. We were put in another 4 star hotel for a night and immediately realised how much more The Garden Hotel had the atmosphere we wanted for our week away. We went as a couple in our 30s and loved how clean, friendly, fun and relaxing it all felt. The smaller size made it feel personal straight away. We never had trouble finding a sunbed, somewhere to sit, or food. The wristband room key is a great idea, and there was always a good drink selection. The water fountains for refilling bottles make a big difference, especially after staying somewhere without them. The entertainment had a nice mix, and Aly is a joy to be around, as others have said. All the staff were lovely.
