The location was a plus, and the pool was calm and peaceful with Estrella on tap. Still, I probably wouldn't stay again because of the disruptions. I complained about guests making noise through the night, and staff moved me to another room, but that one had its own issues. It was near the front, where you could hear drunk people outside shouting. In my first room there was no shower curtain or bath plug, so a shower would flood the whole bathroom. The food looked very poor from what I saw. Breakfast was included, but I only ever had an expresso.

The location is excellent and the staff are friendly. The room is dated and due for renovation, but it was cleaned every day, the AC worked, and the bed and towels were in good shape. Breakfast was plain; dinner was good and offered different dishes. Whether the hotel suits you depends on what you're looking for.

This was my second stay, and I've booked again for next year. The food was always the same, but I found something I could eat at every meal. Bar staff were fantastic and fun, and reception staff were very helpful. I needed a fridge and kettle for medical supplies, and they helped me get them. I had requested a lower-floor room because I'm disabled, but that didn't happen; I was able to adjust to the room I booked.

The location is really good, but the eight days here were hard going. Our first-floor room was fine, though the only way in was a side door from the street beside smelly bins. We had to use it to get to the pool too. Room service came just once, on Thursday, despite being scheduled for Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. We had to ask for fresh towels ourselves. The food was the worst I've had. Even at 19.00, right when service started, everything was barely warm and there wasn't much choice: lettuce, tomatoes, frozen vegetables, two kinds of meat, fries, rice and pizza. Breakfast was much the same, so after the first morning we went to a local cafe for better food. The canteen used paper cups instead of washable ones, adding to the island's recycling problem. Cutlery and plates weren't always clean either. We had AC only in the sitting room, with nothing in the main bedroom, not even a fan. It was really hot at night during the summer and we couldn't sleep.
