Casa Rural Maribel

The toiletries were very limited, just hand soap, and even that was empty. There were no kitchen basics like pans or clean sponges either. We did call the owner several times, and he brought what we asked for without any trouble, but having to phone during a relaxing getaway just to get a pan is unacceptable. That part really needs improvement.

We had a great Easter stay with nine people in this cozy house, which is centrally placed for visiting sights in Extremadura. The kitchen utensils could do with an update, though everything else was very good.

The patio was lovely, and everything at Maribel's country house was very clean. The owner was attentive and helpful throughout our stay, and we had a great time.

It's well situated in the village, and we'll definitely stay at Juan's house again when we return. We spent a wonderful week there. The rooms are much more beautiful than the photos suggest, and the house is spacious, cool, spotless, and equipped with everything you could need. You can see the care Juan put into preparing it, with details honoring Extremadura and his grandparents. It brought my father priceless memories from his childhood.
