The promised washing machine was broken. I reported it, but it wasn't repaired. The thick walls also mean phones don't work inside the house, and the owner doesn't cover that either, which cost €40. My musty room had one bed and no ventilation. Its window opened onto an unventilated kitchen and toilet, which was very unpleasant. The shared toilet also felt like a serious infection risk: used paper has to go in a covered bin, and it isn't emptied in time. The XXI. could already have installed the proper device (€300).

Santa Brigida is worth visiting, and there are plenty of good restaurants and cafés nearby. There's also a small farmers' market close by on weekends. La Casona Roja is a cozy place in a lovely old townhouse, nicely decorated, and the owner is super nice and helpful. I'd come back.

It's a hostel, with the kitchen and sink, coffee, and other shared facilities downstairs on the ground floor. The bathroom is outside the room and has no amenities. There's no parking on the street, but parking is only a few minutes' walk away. At 60€/night, I think it's EXAGERATED for a hostel in that area. The place is clean and nicely decorated, the owner is a warm, welcoming lady, and the village is quiet with simple places to eat nearby.

The host was friendly, and the hostel was clean. It's an old house that's been redesigned, but a bit expensive for the facilities provided.
