Suites & Apartments Calle Real

Fantastic place, I’m sure. Please add a timer to the night alarm, maybe 5 minutes. With no limit it can be a bit entertaining at 3 AM. Also, if you turn on the outside lights before 7 PM, it’ll make things much easier for your guests. Your neighbor.

Everything was spotlessly clean, and the bathroom was surprisingly large. There’s also a small kitchen for preparing your own food, with a microwave and kettle. The hotel is in a historic building on a pedestrian street, so you hear the sea and people passing outside, but there are no cars. Reception is in a separate building about a five-minute walk away on Avenida Maritime.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with bread, cold cuts, pastries and fruit, and it was both generous and tasty. The room was roomy, very clean and had a comfortable bed. There’s a shared kitchen with an oven and kettle, which came in handy. Right in the center of Santa Cruz de la Palma, too. I’d happily recommend staying here.

I had to file a police report after my engagement ring went missing from the room. I checked out at 9:30 a.m. on January 12, 2026, and left it on the nightstand. By noon that day, it was gone. The hotel staff were completely defensive. I’ve attached a photo of part of the report.
