The staff were very kind and the location is great. The space was large, but it smelled damp and moldy, there were tiny insects on the table and kitchen surfaces, and I woke up with a couple of bug bites each morning. The Wi-Fi also didn't work, and it took staff two days of my three-day stay to fix it. I don't know whether this level of poor cleanliness is typical of hotels in Tenerife, but I'd avoid it if possible.

The location makes it easy to explore Santa Cruz and head elsewhere, and the sun terrace is so good it feels worth much of the price by itself. The apartment is roomy and has what you need, apart from a bottle opener. I liked the old-style window details, too. Getting in was tricky at first, though the system is simple once you know how it works. Contact the owner beforehand and make sure you have the instructions before arriving at the main entrance.

The good water pressure and convenient location couldn't make up for the rest. There was a strong drain smell in the bathroom that spread through the apartment whenever its door was open. Our place faced a very noisy street, low down above several terraces crowded with people. We couldn't leave the window open, but the old, weak air-conditioning couldn't cool the apartment with it shut. Everything looked fancy but felt impractical. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The apartment was clean, the view was lovely, and we had a great two-night stay. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and found the location perfect, with some lovely restaurants and local bars nearby. We'd definitely come again, thanks for having us ☺️ xx
