Aguamadera Ibiza Hotel

Dinner turned out to be a brilliant way to finish my Ibiza trip. I watched the sunset with a cocktail, and both the food and service were outstanding. At just over €100 for three courses and a cocktail, it also seemed like great value for the island. I first visited for a sound bath and breathwork session in the dedicated well-being room, which was a lovely experience on its own. The kitchen smells and view caught my attention as soon as I entered the hotel, so I booked dinner. Outside guests can only dine in the evening, and I was lucky to get a table. I'll definitely be back.

The service stayed with me most: warm, personal, and intuitive, with people remembering your name and preferences while never getting in your way. It felt like the staff wanted to be there, and that made everything easy. My husband and I stayed from the 15th of September until the 23rd, and had an amazing time. Aguamadera suits anyone wanting a quieter, restorative Ibiza break. If you're after beach clubs, crowds, and loud nightlife, this isn't that kind of place. It's tucked into the countryside among olive trees and herb gardens, with a lovely sense of silence. The simple design uses earthy colors and natural textures, with rustic touches but plenty of comfort. You can just be there without feeling you need to make plans. We especially liked the slow breakfasts and wood-fired dinners. The food was local, seasonal, and full of flavor, and the evening meals felt like gatherings. It's a little remote, and the road in can be rough, but that added to the feeling of getting away. Aguamadera doesn't rely on flash. Its care, simplicity, and peaceful atmosphere really work.

Friendly service, really good food, and beautiful design. There are plenty of places to switch off, from the poolside lounges and sunny garden chairs to the indoor fireplace. It's such a lovely hotel for couples wanting a quiet getaway. Couldn't find anything to fault, and I'd definitely return with friends.

We came away feeling relaxed and rejuvenated after spending a night in the mountains. Even the rain made the place feel especially soothing. The staff were brilliant and couldn't do enough for us, and the setting was peaceful with delicious food and impeccable service. What a find, and a wonderful way to finish our break in Ibiza. A truly special place.
