The property has a lot of room and worked well for a family of four staying ten nights. We had a grill, tables indoors and out, lounge chairs, and animals that gave the place character. Parking was easy. It's fairly isolated, so we didn't have neighbour noise, although nearby houses did play music in the evenings. With decent owners and a decent managing agency, it could be an amazing place. Instead, the agency and owners were appalling. The cleanliness was the biggest problem. Peacocks wander freely, and droppings built up all over the terrace during our stay. We had no tools to clean them, and the agency did nothing after we complained. We liked the animals, but having their excrement everywhere isn't hygienic or normal. By the end, we stopped using the outdoor space. The fridge in the Booking.com photos is a large new green model that makes ice. What we got was an old, rusty fridge with a door that wouldn't shut, so food spoiled. Other Booking.com reviewers had raised the same issue and were told it would be replaced after their stay. We also found ants in the bedrooms; the agency sent someone, but only after a few days. We were given just two towels per person for ten nights. The loungers had towels in the listing photos, but none were there when we arrived. It took five days of back and forth with the agency to get them. No one came to clean the property or terrace during our stay. There were no instructions for rubbish: when we asked about the large outdoor bin, which fills quickly, the agency seriously told us to throw it away wherever we could outside the city. There was noise from animals in the morning that could wake you. We also had no toilet paper, shampoo, or USB charging ports. Communication was very slow, and the agency said it couldn't help with most problems. Laughable. See the photos of ants in the bedrooms, droppings on the terrace and windows, and the ancient broken fridge.

The animals were the highlight for me, especially the four gentle, trusting donkeys: three mares and a stallion, so there may be offspring from time to time. There are also about a dozen peacocks, different ducks and chickens, two turkeys, and other large birds I couldn't identify. The goats are slender and have a magnificent buck, though they're shy and accept treats without wanting to be petted. I even had to free a kid goat that had got its head through the fence and was stuck upside down between it and the water barrel. The sheep are skittish too, and took about a week to stop running away when I spent time near them each day. This finca is a wonderful place to relax, with no traffic noise, just nature and the farm animals. I would call it an agro-farm. It's a shame there are no cats or dogs, though that would mean needing a different way to feed the animals. About every three days, an agency employee would arrive without warning in a van and drive past the house to feed them, usually around 5:30 pm. To set the record straight, the kitchen had a huge, ultramodern fridge. I didn't have a problem with birds leaving droppings all over the terrace. When I saw them, I went outside and they flew away. I gave five stars with a few conditions. The water needs a reasonable hardness, around 7. At the moment it's softened to 0 or 1, so it takes a lot of water and time to rinse soap off, especially from hands and feet. A grime-like film sticks around and transfers to bathroom containers, which then slip out of your fingers. My toothbrush glass was a nuisance, and I nearly slipped twice in the shower. Falling against the glass partition could have been fatal. As a workaround, I used harder water from the garden shower, which rinses soap off straight away. I heated some in the microwave for a small plastic bottle to use while showering. There are no useful towel hooks in the bathroom or kitchen. I used the open window and vanity doors in the bathroom instead. Upstairs, the big bedroom windows have almost no sun protection and get hot. Air conditioning cools them down, but that doesn't seem healthy or sustainable. The TV antenna cables in the living room are 10 to 15 cm too short to turn the screen properly toward the sofa. I bought the missing egg cups, though they still need an egg piercer. Dish soap was promised but never arrived. The showers have overhead rain-style heads only, with no hand showers. Bathroom storage is limited, and you can't take soap into the shower because it gets soaked. The soft water also means you have to shower longer than usual.

There are plenty of animals around this lovely finca, almost like being in a small zoo. It's not perfect, but I don't expect it to be. Have a glass of wine and lend a hand instead of getting worked up. If you're a cool person, you can definitely relax here!

We had a wonderful week here with the kids. The finca sits in a very quiet spot on a huge property full of animals. Highly recommend it.

The establishment is quiet, well situated, and has everything you need. The animals add to its charm, and I'd highly recommend staying here.
