The sea view is better from the top floor, and the food was great. It was a shame that they don’t serve drinks with dinner, so you have to buy them. I really liked our clean, tidy room. There were bathrobes on the bed and a wonderful surprise of free cocktails. Incredible.

The hotel was so clean, and there was always a nice smell as we passed the front doors. Although it’s on the central street and I expected noise, we slept like babies because the rooms were very well isolated. The rooms are a bit small, but fine for a couple. Staff were amazing, so nice and helpful. The only thing I disliked was how long check in took. I understand it’s the new Spanish law, but after a long flight you just want to sleep. Otherwise, I recommend it.

The location was a real plus, with the beach, shops, restaurants, and bars just a two-minute walk away. We also loved the pool and the delicious cocktails. At meals, there was a good range of food and the restaurant staff were really nice. The breakfast pastries are worth trying. Reception were always cheerful and greeted us with a smile. We did have a couple of room hassles, though: we'd booked a double but got two single beds, and were told no double room was available when we asked to switch. The wristbands for opening the door were unreliable too, so getting into our room took ages, even after we exchanged them several times.

The hotel was immaculate, tucked into a peaceful spot that was still central. I liked seeing solo travellers alongside both younger and older couples. If you're after a party destination, this area probably won't suit you. It's better for good food, a quiet, clean pool, and well-made drinks brought over with a smile. My boyfriend and I had a brilliant long weekend. Every staff member was so friendly and accommodating, and we couldn't fault the service. We'll be back soon.
