Sitting outside with the breeze, a drink and some food made for a lovely atmosphere. The fish was super fresh, and I really liked the deep-fried squid too. Enjoyed the food and, of course, the Sangria. Highly recommend it.

The bacon-wrapped dates were the standout for me, a waiter suggested them and they were delicious. The salmon risotto was lovely too, and the food overall was excellent. Service was friendly, though slower than I expected while we waited for our dishes. It seemed the team was short-staffed, but everyone was working hard and doing their best. There aren’t many restaurants in this small town, so getting a table without booking can be difficult. I’d reserve ahead.

We ordered several dishes and ate more than we meant to because the portions were generous and everything tasted good. A beautiful, genuinely authentic place in the neighborhood, with extremely nice and excellent waiters.

After a morning exploring the nearby calas, this was an ideal lunch break. Pombolieria Es Pontàs is right beside Cala Santanyí and around 15 minutes from the popular calas near Llombards, so it fits easily into a beach day. The setting is relaxed and beachy, but the food was much better than I expected. We had chicken, a burger and fish, and all three were fresh, flavorful and excellent. A nice spot to recharge after swimming and exploring, with a quality meal instead of the usual tourist beach food.
