Hostal Mistral

The owners were so sweet, and the room was just right, with a big, comfy bed, good cleanliness and AC. Cala petita is only a five-minute walk away, a lovely spot for a morning swim. Parking was easy enough to find within a five-minute walk, pretty much anywhere around there. I'd gladly return and recommend this hotel for a stay in Cala d’Or.

The family who run the hotel made us feel welcome. Raquel greeted us at check-in and marked up a map with restaurant suggestions. The staff were friendly and helpful, and our room was clean and modern. We loved the hotel's charm and character, and the location is hard to beat at this price. It's one of our favorite hotels, and we'll be back.

We spent two days at family-run Mistral Hostal in the heart of Cala d'Or. The couple who own it were extremely friendly, and the owner welcomed us with suggestions for things to do and places to eat. Cala Gran is a stunning five-minute walk away, and Cala Petita takes about ten minutes on foot. There's also a Spar market next door, along with lots of shops and restaurants. The room was a good size, clean, with a comfy bed and a perfect bathroom. Even the hotel had a great smell. Breakfast isn't included, but I highly recommend the delicious Mediterranean style meal prepared by the owner. Just remember to ask for it before the next morning. The only drawback was parking, since there's none available at the hotel and finding a street space comes down to luck. I'd recommend staying here and plan to return.

It's got a lovely family-run boutique feel, and the rooms were clean. The hosts were super friendly and accommodating. You're right in the center, close to the beach, shops and restaurants. If we come back to Mallorca, we'll stay here again and recommend it to friends.
