The location is good, but the rooms aren't comfortable. The bathtub is a disaster, the air conditioning doesn't work, and with the window open, cars and people outside kept me awake. If the hotel wants the American market, I think it needs to adapt. Otherwise, it should make that very clear.

Quiet and comfortable, tucked away from the beaten path behind the local market, yet only a short walk from the cathedral. The breakfast, served from 7-10:30 am, was the best in town. The place is nicely decorated and has all the modern comforts and amenities for a very reasonable price. Friendly staff too. Reservations advised. Highly recommended.

The garden view at breakfast was breathtaking, and the buffet had a wide range of choices that I really enjoyed. This is a perfect place to finish the Camino! The antique hotel is well maintained and feels just right for Santiago De Compostela. All the staff were warm and welcoming, and I really enjoyed my stay. Gracias!

At around 11 PM, a staff member mistakenly let two new guests into our room while my roommate and I were asleep. We woke up abruptly to strangers coming in, and it was deeply distressing. We couldn't sleep for the rest of the night. The room itself and the initial welcome were acceptable, but the incident made the stay very unsettling. When we raised it with management the next morning, they showed little empathy, saying it was “only a small mistake” and that “no physical harm” had occurred. They offered to refund the room only if we marked the stay as a no-show on Booking.com, which would let them avoid commission and keep us from leaving a review. We declined because that felt dishonest and inappropriate. I can't recommend this hotel based on what happened. Stay clear.
