Clean place, great location, and friendly staff. There’s a small coffee and tea station in the lobby. I hadn’t read the description carefully, so I didn’t realize the private bathroom was separate from the room, down the hallway, and needed its own key. The room also has a strange green light that stays on all night.

We had a lovely stay in a private room just by the cathedral, and the price was great. They even let us leave our bags while we walked to Fisterre. Thanks for being so welcoming!

I paid about €220 for four nights in attic room number 34, which is incredible value given the location. The room had a single bed, little table, fan, and en-suite shower room. The bed was comfortable and I slept really well. It was cleaned every day, and they regularly replaced the towels and shampoo. The shower was powerful and hot. Staff were friendly and helpful, and arranged a day trip tour and my taxi back to the airport. The ceiling is low, so I bumped my head a couple of times, but that’s to be expected in a small attic room. The shower curtain sometimes came loose and let water onto the floor, though it dried fast in the warm, sunny conditions. I don’t think you’ll find better value accommodation in Santiago de Compostela. I’d stay again, but choose a double room next time.

The location is terrific, just a block from the main square in the heart of the historic district. At check-in they gave me a map and a useful introduction to the city. Thanks, Quín!! Staff were very helpful and at reception from 9a-8p to answer questions or sort out issues, in English and Spanish. I’d absolutely stay again. The room was small with a low sloping ceiling, just as the hotel website said. I’m only 5’6” (1m67) and still bumped my head a couple of times, but it was fine for me. The mattress was comfortable and the shower pressure was amazing. Be careful at the highest setting, though, the water was nearly scalding, good for shaving but much too hot for a shower. The sloped shower floor was a bit slippery and I nearly fell once despite being careful. It was only 57€/night, far cheaper than other places for my dates. I used the savings to eat at nicer restaurants than I usually would, and Santiago has some fantastic ones.
